Hydrangea Dried
by Carolyn Teague
Watercolor
My friend brought these to class, on the last day.  On the last day of class, I asked my students if there was anything else they would like to see painted.  One of them asked that I paint the dried hydrangea, so quickly it was done. Thanks to all my students in the past and present for all the challenges you have given me.  You are the best.

Complimentary Colors
by Carolyn Teague
Watercolor
When you look at this you will see what looks random colors.  On the Color Wheel the primary colors are Red, Blue and Yellow.  To get the Secondary Colors you mix Red with Blue to get Purple; you mix Yellow with Blue to get Green; and you mix Red with Yellow to get Orange.  Yellow is opposite Purple on the color wheel so they compliment each other.  Blue is opposite orange on the color wheel, so they are compliments of each other and you look at Red and Green is across on the color wheel which means they compliment each other.
